I wasn't expecting writing about this today...

Breastfeeding in public: I came upon a fb post about this and the article was about how good this is. I am all for it as well. It is natural. It is the God-ordained way of nourishing the infant. However, there is a group of people that I will call the 'immodesty crowd' that seek to flaunt this as something that must have the complete light of day; in other words, done as an exposition. They are the same folks that if they could would expose the intimate relations of man and woman in a public park. They have lost sight of the fact that the most sacred things are covered and done discreetly, though they be in a public setting. It is not that the breastfeeding is done publicly, but how it is done. Those things most holy and thereby beautiful are most appropriately covered. We must realize that the immodesty crowd wants to flaunt so many things that at one time were hidden or kept private, I believe with the agenda to cheapen and debase what is beautiful. The public exposure is like too much light allowed on undeveloped film. There are reasons there are darkrooms.
