The Equal Work Myth

It has often been asserted by various journalists that the disparity in wage is still evident in culture. It is a result of sexism in the workplace. But doesn't this myth work off the assumption that there can even be "equal work"? Even an individual doesn't do the same "equal" work from day to day! So many variables exist. Quality of work, shift, competence, education, etc. Even an individual must admit that his work is not equal from one day to another. This, yet another victimization of the patriarchal system is simply another example of our adopting the Marxist schema of the world, i.e., class warfare (Marxism) or gender warfare (feminism), brings about.
