Academic Freedom or Academic Fascism?

Okay, so here is the new academic freedom, eh? This is what the college culture has come to? What should be surprising to me is that I am not surprised. We have in charge of colleges these days, no matter if they are Catholic or not, totalitarians of thought. May you stay strong, Professor Tony Esolen. Back in the early apostolic era St Polycarp on his way to his uttermost witness was spoken to from the great cloud of witnesses to 'play the man'. Keep strong. Should you be ousted from your post your students will be the great losers. I dread what our country is so quickly becoming. Yes, our Lord was completely correct as we should always expect: The believer will be persecuted for righteousness sake. Men (and colleges) do indeed love darkness rather than light, especially when the darkness masquerades as diversity.
