Peaceniks Into Warmongers?

So the peaceniks of the sixties have suddenly become the warmongers of these present days. What has changed for them to be so ready now to send our soldiers to die in other countries? They didn't seem to have such unbounded compassion for the South Vietnamese as they do for the Kurds. Maybe we could ask one of the very patriotic personalities of the time, Jane Fonda (aka Hanoi Jane), what has occurred to so transform the toleranters into such intoleranters?
