When did 'princess' become a 'royal'? Certainly the feminist linguists have not verboten 'princess' from our nomenclature? Now I suppose a little girl in her child's imaginings will have to be satisfied with pretending to be a neutered 'royal' rather than possess the feminine dignity of a princess.
