The Benign Pipe Bombs to the Dozen Democrats

I can't help thinking that somehow the dems are in on these dozen plastic pipe bombs sent to a dozen leading democrats. I suppose my only excuse for believing this conspiracy theory (I believe and have always believed that conspiracies do happen but that they are more common than we may think) is that again as with the Russian collusion, Stormy Daniels, Blassey Ford, the Caravan, it is just the timing. But not only the mid-term timing but also other details.One in particular: of course we are relieved none of the bombs went off. But doesn't this seem odd? Aren't the purpose of bombs that they do in fact go off? Again all good people are grateful that none of them did---yet still it is an oddity, an aberration as to what bombs normally do. They explode. And the fact that zero out of twelve did what bombs normally do makes me just a tad suspicious as to the manufacturer's intent. (I must confess to the fault of being suspicious of the democrats because of their recent history of creating crisis. Global warming that morphed into the unarguable climate change; holes in the ozone layer; the claim by the democrat senators that a sexual degenerate from highschool is 36 years later, considered for the Court; Trump himself deemed to be the deplorables' Mein Fuhrer and will summarily be impeached when the dems get the House in November; the utterly objective media that continually smears with indelible ink anyone willing to fight the secular orthodoxy; the political correctness that has finally taken a totalitarian tone; the appeal to take in a primarily young male caravan (some might call it an army) of thousands from Honduras who are somehow organized and funded and provided for by some overlord who just might have an agenda. Again the timing is the detail that gives me the greatest pause: the pause that considers at least a possibility, perhaps even slim, perhaps hardly imaginable, that the Left might be just conspitorial enough to send these benign packages to themselves, or have someone they handpick send them. I could of course be wrong; but like Columbo, I had to come back to the scene of the crime and ask the question

Residential Parking Only

As I was riding my bike through Salem which is known for its progressivism and sanctuary status I noticed all the Residential Parking Only signs on all the sidestreets. It is odd too that Cambridge, the progressive city par excellence, is even more restricted (it has been for sometime) in its allowance of any immigrant automobiles that transgress any of the Permit Parking Only spaces. Hmmm. In the light of all the Left's push for open borders I wonder that such an openness should be according to Residential side streets. I mean shouldn't any vehicle have as much right to the parking spots---granted the spaces are finite and the number of cars---especially now in October---in Salem at least---approaches Halloween infinity and critical mass? So I am expecting this to come to the attention of the progressive mind. It is enough that any vehicle and registration is discriminated against. Why this uncompassionate attitude does not make the airwaves of CNN or MSNBC or Huffington Post perplexes me. That these bulwarks of tolerance and openness doesn't feature an article on the hard hearted carist attitudes of having these unfair limitations along these residential streets. Just because someone through his or her Toyota or Honda or even Lexus privilege gets to park in a spot and someone from other places can't is such an injustice worthy of the attention of the ACLU. Yes, this must be cited as one of the most egregious injustices of our time and certainly one in which I am supremely confident that Ruth Beta can find in the Constitution. Something to show that the right of pro-choice parking must be somewhere in the dynamic reading of that most malleable document. And further those residents that have driveways---certainly this is even a more objectionable and offensive privilege---that seems to reek of class privilege that needs a thorough egalitarian purge if our democratic socialism is to be realized in that all residential spaces be available to all without discrimination. And after why not houses themselves?

On Passing a Coffee Shop

I must confess that this consideration I am highlighting today may seem at first blush to be a bit culturally naive and even old fashioned as to the way of things. On passing a coffee shop I witnessed something that at first shouldn't exhibit any cultural curiosity whatsoever. It was merely a greeting between two college age persons, a young man and a young woman. The young man platonically hugged the woman---no actually it was the young woman that initiated the hug which of course is the way it must be today. Anyhow it was not this that made me take note. It was the actual verbal greeting that the young man used. "Good to see you, Bro," he said. It was not the first part that made me stop and wonder. It was the appellation. Well should I really be surprised? I mean "guys" has been the substitute for the politically incorrect and patriarchally condescending "girls" for a number of years now. So why should not the term "bro" be as appropriate as any? But I remember somehow these same current wordsmiths rebuking the bible as a sexist and misogynist text for using such chauvinistic pronouns as "he" that I must confess to a confusion in how to speak in a culturally correct way. And most especially now with the trans pronouns coming into effect I am at a total loss in daring to utter even a syllable lest it be wrongly perceived and suffer the most mortal of sins---that of being offensive. Alas it is the greatest Gehenna one must suffer to be forever labelled with the ugly ad hominems that are the current fashion. Thus I must exhibit a silence that would be like the silence a church mouse must possess when being in the ubiquitous company of cats.

If this doesn't tell you how bankrupt ubiquitous Leftist education is I don't think anything will. This is the logical conclusion of "Women's Studies 101" where young minds are engineered for tolerance diversity love thy neighbor fairness equality compassion gender politics empowerment. Yes, it was the tree of knowledge that enticed Eve. And it looks like she is still being enticed.

What the Bullies Didn't Expect

The bullies hate the fact that they can't bully that big kid with the red hair on the playground. He stands up to them time and time again and won't get off the swings when they demand it. I want to be more like him.

Temperament of the Accused

Now it is a question of temperament. I guess if a guy gets falsely accused of the most sordid sexual crimes merely for political gain, and his family endures the making of their man into a gang rapist so that the powers that be need to keep their rights to destroy life in the womb I guess it is not appropriate to the highest court in the land that the nominee even raise his eyebrows at the inquisition. Regarding temperament I guess the accusers at the Inquisition Tribunal should themselves not be judged on such distinctive democrat qualities as arrogance, smugness, self-righteous phariseeism, judgmentalism, incorrigibility and deceit. I suppose even the anger exhibited at the turning of the tables at the temple would be enough for them to disqualify One as the Son of God in their eyes.
