A Bill to Allow 40 Week Abortions and Infanticide in Virginia

Now if this doesn't wake us up nothing will. Here is a soft-spoken Dr. Josef Mengele. If this doesn't alert you to the trajectory from which there might be no return I don't think anything will. When you have come to so disrespect innocent life as we have whether it is in the womb or nursing home we will come to disrespect it at all stages. Yes, we are slouching toward Gomorrah.

Womb Dwellers in New York and Now Virginia Beware!

With the latest out of New York and now Virginia concerning unwanted womb-dwellers (and it turns out those just evicted) I wonder why a bishop would call excommunication a weapon he would rather not use when there are such things as forceps and suction tubes and poison pills. These seem to me to be what could be called weapons. I would especially think so if I was as little and as helpless and as innocent as a little person in the womb, or newly outside it. I wonder if they will also light up any buildings in Virginia in lovely tolerant pink because of this latest in the progress of our brave new world?

Twelve Years

The very cognitive congresswoman says that the world will end in twelve years. I imagine she is right. Yes, I can already imagine Ecuadorian heat that hasn't leaked out of the ozone holes (yesterday's very real fear) melting Arctic ice caps. I can sense impending doom about to descend. Yes, twelve years. That seems to take the pressure off. It really settles down one's avarice and ambition, doesn't it? No need to worry. Twelve years. Perhaps if we all do our part we can extend the world for a few more years. As for me, I will do what I can, Miss Cortez. I will get my carburetors adjusted, I will push to plug all Texas republican oil wells, I will halt any delivery of any of the fascist fossilized fuels, I will even terminate my Russian colluded thermostats, I will support a Carbon tax, Nitrogen tax, Sulfur tax and Oxygen tax. I will push for winter bicycle riding, skate boarding, scooters over heat-seated Lexus SUVs. I will continue to push for the non-use not just of House Speakers but anyone's use of airplanes. Greyhound buses have a much smaller carbon footprint. Perhaps Miss Cortez would even consider running among the stellar candidates on the Democratic side---though considering the twelve year window she better make it soon. Why advocate her running? simple: she seems to be the one that has the proper progressive push for hope and change that will fundamentally transform America. Can you imagine how good it will be to have safe zones where one doesn't have to worry about Putin and Trump sharing state secrets, where borders will be open for all, immoral walls would be razed wherever they exist, immoral guns and immoral MEGA hats would be confiscated. It is really about time we have someone bold enough to stand up to the toxic tea party bullies and wipe the Covington smiles off all actually believing Catholic faces (we don't mind the non-believing ones), that the only drug that would be considered criminal would be the opiate of religion; and of course finally someone so brilliant in economical ethics to redistribute the rich into the poor and the poor into the rich. But most especially, I do not doubt that the Messianic Carbon tax will usher in an ecology where the polar bear will at last lie down with the fur seal. The genderless and classless utopia will indeed be wonderful. It's just too bad that we will only have twelve years to enjoy our Starbuck frappuccino with our new organic wooden straws.

A Hundred Hawks for a House Sparrow

When you have an entire squadron of FBI come in flack jackets and automatic weapons to arrest a white collar individual (Roger Stone) in his nighttgown and slippers isn't this the bullying that the Leftist guardians of secular dogma and marxist morality are constantly condemning? Isn't this use of the Federal Police Force a little excessive? Isn't it like a whole pack of wolves sent out to attack a lamb? Isn't it like a pride of lions recruited to go after a sickly gazelle? Isn't it like a hundred hawks needed to descend upon a house sparrow? I really am surprised no anti-bully activists have come out against these contemporary Brown Shirts. I didn't think they liked police so well.

A New One to Add to the Bill of Rights

It's really a shame the Framers of the Bill of Rights couldn't return to our enlightened times and add another item to such rights as the Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Religion (all by the way in serious jeopardy); that being said, with the current bugaboo about Covington Catholic kids' facial expressions, perhaps we also need Freedom of Face.

The Covington Catholic Boy's Toxic Crime

Oh my goodness. I can't believe it. What is the country coming to? A teenager is accused of smirking or smiling! Who does this kid think he is?  Unconscionable that he would think that he has the audacious freedom to paste such an imperialist countenance upon his unpigmented face in response to being respectfully jeered at. I'm glad all of the self righteous Left has come to the rescue of the meek and mild helpless and victimized Black Israelites and the Indigenous non-European-Imperialist Indian Vietnam Congressional Medal of Honor recipient over this unpigmented toxic boy who has the audacity to smile at his taunters! I mean isn't this toxic masculinity in its fruition? My goodness this country needs to be rid of such flagrant Hate as this unpigmented toxic boy---and from a Catholic school of all places. Why if this young brainwashed bigot wasn't so toxic a representative of toxic masculinity why would the boy's own bishops and priest have fed their little white sheep so readily to the nice gentle wolves? For here you have this unpigmented toxic boy who dares to march against the wonderful lovely nice freedom to delicately eliminate from the womb the inconvenient consequences of unrestricted pleasure. Why it is beyond imagination that we have come to realize that such Hate as to stop a woman's inalienable constitutional right to rid herself of a little one that could actually be a toxic little fella---50 percent chance of that. But back to the Covington kid: Can we all agree that someone that wears such an imperialist Make America Great Again cap is waving red in the bull ring. What does he expect? A hug? I hope he sees a good secular behaviorist for much needed tolerance therapy  to replace his evident toxicity. If this recommendation of mine is followed one needn't worry about him ever wearing such a badge of intolerant nationalism. Instead I envision a completely undeplorable kid who might just wear something pink on his head and instead of the March for Life join the respectful kind and lovely folk who march in something really unsmirky like the Women's March.

Miss Pelosi's Plane

On the President's latest impeachment act: Not allowing Miss Pelosi to use the government's private jet: I will no doubt endear myself to my leftist antagonists on this one for I am for this the President's latest act. But I am for it not the way most would expect (and this will please the leftists I have no doubt). I am not for it because of the Schumer shutdown, or the fact that walls are immoral (asphalt roof shingles I would also put down as being immoral cohorts in architectural crimes), or that they don't work (the walls of my own house no doubt let a few renagade winter air molecules in so this verifies that walls don't in fact work). I am for the President's course of action here (no doubt an impeachable offense as is his auburn hair) for a reason that I know, I can almost hear an "Amen" or a "Well down Comrade" from a Pelosi-Schumer-Camille--Hillary---Obama quintet. This is the reason. It is because I do care about Carbon emissions and the Carbon Footprint and I have noticed that one day last week got over freezing here in my little coastal town and it caused my anxiety over the polar bears being trapped out on little icebergs and the danger of the palmetto trees overtaking the sugar maples here and so many more things. You see I'm starting to believe in the dogma in almost as dogmatic a way as the Dems do. That the globe is warming and not allowing Miss Pelosi to use her private jet makes the cosmic catastrophe a little less close than it would've been had she left carbon trails in the very fragile atmosphere alone.

Is There Really a POTUS in Putin's Pocket?

I think the Russian Collusion story is like a loaf of bread you forgot on the shelf and it becomes even too stale for the pigeons. But of course you keep offering it though it is brick hard and indigestible even for bread mold.

The White Winged Scoter

White winged scoter, common eiders, buffleheads---the coastal birds that come down from the North to bask in the balmy waters of New England. The white winged scoter, while the slash of white on its eye is a distinguishing detail, has a reddish orange protuberance on its bill that really distinguishes the male. Once you've seen one there can be no mistake.
Being early for the bus I walked down to the water to take a look. What struck me as I watched this scoter was that reddish orange at the end of the bill. Why is there color in nature? Why do certain cells come together to pigment anything? There is the green of the grass; even in winter there is the blanched green of the sun starved privet. There is the creamy blotches on the bark of a sycamore; there is the blue frost burned on the winter sky. Why such color? Could it possibly be that there is an Artist's palette somewhere with an infinite variety of paints awaiting the coloration of the cosmos?

Walls That Don't Work

I hear now that walls don't work. But isn't this contra to the same voices' shout that walls are immoral? Isn't their point that the immorality comes from keeping certain people out? But if walls don't work as the same people claim then the walls are not performing the immoral act of keeping people out; therefore I don't see the sequitur that the non performing wall is doing anything and thus how can such an impotency be immoral. Isn't it like saying a person that cannot deal drugs is doing an immoral act? If he cannot do it how can such a thing that he cannot do be immoral? Would any court convict him of such a non mea culpa? I am really quite confused. If a screen on a window or a wall on a room, or a door to a house, or a gate to a yard doesn't work why would any of these things be immoral if we mean by morality that everyone must be accepted into the window, into the room, into the house, into the yard? Isn't the basis for the immorality of these inanimate objects the fact, and only by the fact, that such things do indeed work? But the same intelligences say that such things don't work. You can see my dilemma. I so want to believe, but I'm having trouble. Perhaps I didn't get to attend the proper social engineering class, or paid as much attention to the truth trough of CNN and MSNBC and the Huffington Post as I might have.

Things I am Intolerant of

Things I am intolerant of: a newly elected congresswoman calling our President a MF at a public event. I am intolerant of the lead on yahoo saying that she simply "cursed out Trump" without reference to the ugliness of her language. Yet for the depravity of the congresswoman's remarks I am even more intolerant of a crowd that cheers such ugliness as if this is now, to borrow the new house speaker's words "who we are". I am intolerant of this place to where we lift up such as the paragon example of the new political virtue. I am intolerant of all the 'virtue signaling'. I am intolerant of euphemistic language like "pro-choice" for the termination of little womb dwellers as a constitutional right. I am intolerant of "Love thy Neighbor" and "No Place for Hate" signs that declare their own hate and announce so eloquently a totalitarian way of thinking they wish for all. I am intolerant of those that hate this country, rewrite her history, lament her goodness. I am intolerant for those that deface our flag and take economic advantage of America while spitting upon her. I am intolerant of the new puritans that spew venom at presidents and flags and monuments while insisting on their own poisonless fangs. I am intolerant of those that are masters of language-spin and manipulate so many with a phrase. I am intolerant of parents who think it is a mark of great progressive prerogative to leave their children's gender an open question that they will decide. I am intolerant of social engineering. I am intolerant of the loss of Bedford Falls when it is lost and Pottersville when it comes. ~wds
